SUMMARY:Dandridge Scots-Irish Festival
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the rich Scots-Irish heritage of East Tennessee at the 17th Annual Dandridge Scots-Irish Festival, returning to the streets of Historic Downtown Dandridge for a weekend filled with music, culture, history, and family fun.\nSet along the shores of beautiful Douglas Lake—or **“Loch Douglas” for the occasion—the festival celebrates the Scottish and Irish settlers who helped shape the history and culture of the region. Throughout the day Saturday, downtown comes alive with the sounds of bagpipes and Celtic music, traditional dancing, clan and heritage organizations, demonstrations, vendors, food, and activities for all ages.\nThe 2026 festival will feature a Pipe & Drum Band Challenge, live performances from House of Hamill, Trip Rogers, The Muckers and other entertainers, Irish and Highland dancing, traditional Highland athletic demonstrations, historical fencing, sheepdog demonstrations, an old-time children’s playground, the popular dog parade, and much more.\nFestival weekend begins Friday evening, September 25, before the main festival takes over downtown Dandridge on Saturday, September 26. Stick around Saturday evening for the Ceilidh by the Loch, a lively celebration of Celtic music and entertainment beside Douglas Lake.\nCome for the music and traditions, explore the shops and historic sites of downtown Dandridge, and experience one of Jefferson County’s favorite fall celebrations.\nFor the complete schedule, entertainment lineup, parking information, and festival details, visit ScotsIrishFestival.com.\n
