A longtime stop on the tournament circuit, Douglas Lake welcomes anglers from across the region and beyond to compete in the AVIX Tire Big Bass Classic presented by Jefferson County Tourism, featuring $160,000 in guaranteed prizes and payouts.\nUnlike traditional tournaments where anglers bring in a multi-fish limit at the end of the day, the Big Bass Tour is all about catching one big bass. Anglers compete in hourly weigh-ins throughout each tournament day, creating plenty of opportunities to move up the leaderboard and take home a cash prize. The angler with the biggest bass of the entire weekend will claim the tournament’s grand prize—a fully rigged 2026 NITRO Z18 boat package valued at $58,570.\nAll official weigh-ins will take place at Dandridge City Dock, with seven hourly weigh-in periods each day from 8:00 AM through 3:00 PM.
