The Bill Dance Giant Bass Open returns to Douglas Lake, bringing anglers to Dandridge for another exciting weekend of competitive bass fishing on one of Tennessee’s renowned Bill Dance Signature Lakes.

Open to amateur anglers, the Giant Bass Open features a unique tournament format that rewards anglers for bringing in the biggest bass throughout the day rather than a traditional multi-fish limit. Hourly weigh-ins mean there are plenty of opportunities to earn a payout—and plenty of action to follow as anglers compete to land the biggest fish of the tournament.

The event also encourages the next generation to get on the water with a dedicated Youth Division, making the Giant Bass Open a tournament experience for both adult and young anglers.
