Creek Fest

Celebrate community, outdoor adventure, and the beauty of historic Jefferson City at Creek Fest 2026 in the Mossy Creek District. This exciting inaugural event brings together locals and visitors for a full day of outdoor recreation, live entertainment, food, and family-friendly fun.

The day begins with the Creek Fest 5K Walk/Run, kicking off at 8:30 AM at Mossy Creek Station. Runners and walkers will follow a scenic route through the historic Mossy Creek District, passing local parks and greenways along the way.

Later in the afternoon, paddlers can take part in the Creek Fest Paddle Race, beginning at 3:00 PM, where participants can kayak, tube, or paddle down Mossy Creek in this timed race event. Check-in for the paddle race begins at 2:00 PM at Mossy Creek Park.
