Located 20 minutes away is Dandridge Golf and Country Club.  With 27 holes, 6,100 yards from the back tees, 5,800  yards from regular tees, and 4,900 yards from the forward tees, all combinations are par-72. The course is scenic and provides Smoky Mountain vistas and views of Douglas Lake as you meander through valleys, woodlands, and hills during your game. The reputation of the course is known for providing enjoyable golf to the seasoned professional as well as the beginner. Monday, Wednesday and Friday there is a 1:00 Points Game as well as a Fun League Scramble at 5pm on Thursdays. Patriot Hills Golf Club is the sister course to Dandridge Golf Course and is located close by in Jefferson City. When the course was opened in 1997, it was named the “best new course in East Tennessee,” and offers a par-72 course measuring 6,710 yards from the back tees. The layout is similar to its sister, Dandridge Golf Course, but offers a more challenging game while still sporting views of the Smoky Mountains. Lessons are available at Patriot Hills taught by Master P.G.A. Professional Carl Lohren, who was voted one of the Top 25 Best Teachers of the Century, and his daughter, Dr. Tammy Lohren, P.G.A. Professional.

Heading North on US-92/ Old Andrew Johnson Hwy, and then taking a right onto US-11E N will take you to Lost Creek Golf Club. The course is again surrounded by views of the Smokies, mature trees, and lush greens. If you forgot your clubs or decide last minute to stop by, rental clubs are only $10, making Lost Creek a perfect place for a spontaneous game of golf. The course runs several specials including unlimited Monday games for just $23 dollars, including cart, get fit Thursdays where you can play and walk all day for $12, special orange tees set up to play a par 3 course – get a birdie, win a free ball, discounts for Carson Newman students, and frequent players prices! Lastly, White Pine Golf Club is located on the beautiful shores of Douglas Lake. This 9-hole course is par-36 and features 3,090 yards on a challenging course, year-round. Like the other courses in the area, White Pine Golf Club is challenging and provides long fairways, mountain view, and boasts a 170-yard par 3 which requires a tee shot over water onto a triple-tiered green.
