Fishing Tournament Organizer Info

Jefferson County Department of Tourism assists with the scheduling of fishing tournaments at the Douglas Lake Dandridge TWRA Ramp and Dock, as well as the Cherokee Lake TVA Dam Ramp and Reservation Park.

Organizers can apply to schedule a tournament, or request sponsorship/host fee support for qualifying events. All applications must be submitted online and include required documentation. Approval is based on scheduling availability, event impact, and compliance with state and local guidelines

Cherokee Lake

The Cherokee Dam Boat Ramp is a popular launch site for fishing tournaments on beautiful Cherokee Lake. With its deep waters, abundant bass population, and easy access to the lake, it’s a favorite spot for anglers and event organizers alike.
